(On fishing strategy, from Kerala’s backwater country)
Cordon off a part of a river by the bank. Have a door divide the thus separated ‘pond’ from the rest of the river.
Keep the door open. Sprinkle food particles into your ‘pond’ as bait. Fish will swim into the ‘pond’ for the food. As soon as some fish are in, shut the mousetrap’s door to prevent fish from swimming out of the ‘pond’.
Bring out a net. Catch the fish. Just eat it.
Easy.

tch tch. Such a nice Brahmin boy you used to be once upon a time:P
(Did you actually try this? haha)
Kinda surreal. The person will have to stand watch for a long time to close the door at the correct moment.
[Sneha] – I shant comment on the sub-sub-caste reference. :). I didnt try it, alas – the chap at whose house I stayed showed me a demo though.
[Arun] – It’s just a couple of minutes wait, but it’s fun!
